International Freight Management and Project Forwarding

ALS (Freight Management Group) Limited has developed out of the original company known as Abnormal Load Services (International) Limited (ALS) which was formed in 1980 to offer a “One Stop Shop” for the worldwide movement of abnormal and heavy loads, with its head office in Kingston Upon Hull, in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The intervening years have seen ALS become a major force in the supply of a non asset based (4PL) service to an ever increasing number of major Manufacturers and Distributors. No longer only in the area of Abnormal loads, but the mid 1990’s saw ALS move further into our customers supply chain to encompass services such as Warehousing, pick & pack, international freight management and the highly specialist area of Project Forwarding.

Today ALS (Freight Management Group) has the ability to offer Pan-European and domestic solutions with a network of offices and global partners that form a international freight management logistics operation with 15 offices in the UK, Holland, Belgium, Germany and Italy with new offices in Belgium, UK, Romania, Singapore and Hong Kong offering particular experience and understanding of international abnormal loads, heavy haulage, supply chain management, construction equipment logistics and general freight forwarding.
